Digital camera Review: Costs a 100 $ yet requires USB port plug in

I am giving it 1 star only. That may be too harsh, but I was specifically looking for a mouse that connects directly to my pc without the need of a USB port plug in. There is nothing on the package that suggests that you would need to use a USB receiver, which is typically the case for the lower end mouses.
I fail to understand the logic of this. It's probably an old design, that's why....

OK, ok, ok.. so I dropped it by accident. Twice. It still gets 4 stars because it is still such a GREAT mouse. But now the MX Revo thing with the middle mouse wheel doesnt work right. It is my fault but it loses a star for lack of durability.
PROS:
1. Feel is BEST.
2. Most natural mouse movement on screen. Moves different with jerks and fast movements...
3. Get BTNX when using LINUX and program away! Every button does something important that I choose it to do.
CONS:
1. Nothing other than "Just dont drop it!!!"
Another PRO would be Logitech Customer Service. They really are great. I should have contacted them about the wheel... Have dealt with them before and they were fast and helpful. Big plus for Logitech. They made me a fan.

I bought this mouse to replace the cordless mouse I got with my computer. This one is much more comfortable and fits my hand better. It is smooth and so far the battery life has been excellent. It has a stand to put it in and recharge it---no issues so far. It came with software to allow you to customize settings but I have not had time to do anything but charge the unit and use it. I was hesitant to spend this much on a mouse, but after using it for a while I should have bought it much sooner. It's the most comfortable mouse I've used. I'm a web developer and use it all day long. It works perfectly. I also love that it has a charging dock instead of having to replace batteries. I like this mouse best of all the many I have tried
It's the only cordless I use. I have been through a small pile of bluetooth mice and kept none of them. This mouse is the only one I've used that acts like it is wired (responsive immediately after turning on until off). The MX Revolution has a non-bluetooth, proprietary wireless interface that's easy to use. Has a small adapter that plugs into any USB port. The USB provides power and everything else is automatic. No pairing. No loss of pairing. No missing mouse movements. It just works.
The mouse is also relatively large and very well designed ergonomically. Logitech made sure that it fits a hand and didn't make it cripple their designers by requiring that it be smaller than is best for good ergonomics. I don't find myself accidentally hitting a left or right click as I do with so many mice, especially small ones. I find using this mouse effortless and natural. My hand does not fatigue as it does with other mice over the course of a day's use.
All in all, an excellent product. No regrets with this purchase.
