Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3200 Laser
Got this item as a replacement for an older logitech combo unit. I have to say that I like this one much better.
My old one was rechargeable and I prefer the replaceable batteries that this has. I would always forget to place the mouse in the cahrger for the old one and found that it was close to dead when I needed to use it. I just turn the mouse off when I turn the computer off to save battery life. So far the batteries have lasted since Christmas 2007.
The dynamic search and zoom slider on the left side of the kyeboard is a pain. Sometimes my hand brushes along it while browsing the internet causing the text to get so small I can't read it or so large that a word takes up the whole screen. This feature should be able to be turned off.

I'm typing on the keyboard right now, it's great. The keyboard doesn't "lag" and the mouse is superb. Its light and sharp. I've only had it for a shot time, but I haven't had a single problem yet. The key design is fluid and "futuristic" so it takes a while to get used to typing on it, but once you do, it becomes much easier. I haven't installed the drivers, so I can't speak for any extra features.
The LCD may be a bother to some, and useful to others. For me, it's unnecessary but not a problem. The F-keys and other extra buttons, on top, are a little small but again, not a problem. My previous set war a Microsoft Desktop Elite, so this is an improvement. I used the mouse that came with this keyboard for a while, but I already have a Logiteck MX 1000 Cordless Mouse so I keep it as a backup. The mouse that comes with the keyboard is good for moderate web-surfing but not that good for gaming.
