Digital camera Review: Beautiful Hardware with no Longevity

This mouse/keyboard combo is great looking and very comfortable. The problem is that it does not last. After 10 months or so the keyboard keys began to stick, randomly. It got progressively worse over time. At about 12 months the mouse just quit working altogether. There is a good warranty on the product, but it is very inconvenient to have to return it to Logitech. It takes about 4 weeks for the turnaround so one needs extras to get by while waiting.
Additionally I have my doubts that the problems have been fixed and I may be back at this same point next year. If so I will update this review. For almost $100 I'm sure there are reliable combos available. Save yourself the hassle and find something else!
UPDATE: Well, because the MX 3200 is not in stock,(it is no longer on the website as a current model) Logitech is sending a more basic keyboard and mouse combo to replace my MX3200. The model number is MK700. It doesn't have all of the features of the MX3200 and the retail value is much less. They refused to replace mine with the MX5500 (current model) which has the same layout and features but retails at a higher price. Of course the customer has to be on the sacrificing end of the deal! Maybe this MK700 will last longer and give better service than the MX3200 did; time will tell.

We have three PCs in the house, and this keyboard mouse set do the job and never seem to interfere with each other or any of the other wireless products.
We like the comfortable use of the wireless keyboard and mouse. My son is a hard core gamer and he never complains about the performance. I like the features of controlling volume from the keyboard, and being able to use it while sitting in my chair.
Best value for the money and the applications that I've found after thirty years in the PC business.

Bought this to go with my new Dell PC with Windows Vista installed. Works seamlessly with Vista. The keyboard is great, much smaller than my old Microsoft wireless keyboard. I love the new smaller F keys. The mouse is very comfortable, as I sit for 10 hours a day editing documents.
Would recommend - wireless is definitely the way to go.

This keyboard has a good feel and the laser mouse is very accurate. The only issues are the keyboard LCD display is hard to view in low light and the range using the USB transmitter is somewhat limited. If you're a Mac user, make sure you understand this doesn't include Mac support for the extra buttons and keyboard features - included drivers are for Windows only! While it will work in basic mode with a Mac, you won't be able to program any of the special keys.
The mouse is really good, better than many other mice I've seen in the Logitech wireless bundles, when it comes to comfort in hands - it's not tiny and uncomfortable. The keyboard, while non ergonomic feels solid and is good to type on. Signals aren't dropped like on my old Microsoft 6000 setup. If you need a reliable wireless setup and a comfortable mouse is important to you, I'd recommend this package from Logitech.
