Digital camera reviews of Logitech MX3200 Cordless Desktop Laser (Black)

Digital camera Review: Battieries, batteries, batteries
Summary: 1 Stars

Batteries, batteries, batteries. I don't know if it's just my mouse, but I have to change the mouse batteries every month. (typical office use)

Digital camera Review: BEWARE: 27 MHz sucks for office use!
Summary: 2 Stars

None of the documentation for this product warns you that it's using 27 MHz wireless, not 2.4 GHz.

This is an old, cheap, and not very good wireless technology that means limited range and is very likely to get interference -- especially in a work environment (around other people).

Be warned ...

Digital camera Review: Very Nice
Summary: 4 Stars

This product is made well. Good material, very sleek. The only problem is the range isnt very good.

Digital camera Review: Not for me.
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this keyboard and mouse combo about 8 months ago. This past weekend I finally had enough of it and gave it to my husband. He loves it (so far) and I am back to a wired keyboard and mouse, where I think I'll stay for a while.

My experience with this product is as follows;

The Keyboard:
While the keys are comfortably placed, it just proved to be too bulky for me. Also the LCD that displays the time and date doesn't light up, so I could never see it anyway unless I pulled the keyboard out and angled it just so. What really got on my nerves was the delay from hitting the CAPS button. It took about 4-5 seconds after hitting CAPS for it to take, and during that time my computer froze while it thought about it. Now, this could be my computer (my trusty friend is going on seven years now), or it could have been something disrupting the wireless signal (even though the base was about 10 inches away, at the most). I'm a fast typer, and while 5 seconds doesn't sound like a long time, it is when you're in a rhythm. Also while typing sometimes my pinkie finger would rest on the slider zoom feature on an area where I could not zoom and make a series of loud, system clicks. It scared the crap out of me the first few times until I finally figured out what it was.

The Mouse:
It's just too big for my hands. Very uncomfortable.

I gave this product 3 stars because it's not the greatest, but it's not the worst either. Just right there in the middle.

Digital camera Review: Great Keyboard and Mouse Combination
Summary: 5 Stars

MX3200 keyboard and mouse are great. Keyboard works great whether sitting flat on up on its front legs - I am at home with either one. The keys are very gentle and easy to use - I can use for hours without finger strain :-) Mouse has been using one set of AA batteries for a month now. One can easily turn it off with button under it, but I keep forgetting and it just keeps going. Software makes it even friendlier for individual users.
