Digital camera reviews of Logitech Optical Marble Mouse (USB/PS2)Digital camera Review: Best Trackball mouse ever Summary: 5 Stars
Since my thumb is not the most dexterous digit, I wanted a mouse where I could use my index finger to navigate. This mouse is the best I've ever had, by far. With the two smaller buttons which you can map to whatever you desire, that makes this mouse more versatile than any I've used before. The cost also makes this a super good buy. At $20, you will be hard pressed to find another trackball that can do what this one can do. I highly recommend this to anyone.
Digital camera Review: Best ambidextrous trackball on the market Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best built ambidextrous trackball on the market, I had horrible pain from mousing too much, and this has enabled me to frequently alternate between sides and do my work without pain for years. I hope they make a bluetooth version!
Digital camera Review: Best computer product (and company) I've ever used Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using a Marble Mouse since 1999. I originally bought the white, two button version when it was first released. I wanted an external pointing device for my laptop, and I couldn't use a wheel mouse because the software conflicted with my laptop's touchpad software. I needed a no-frills, plug and play device, and the Marble Mouse was it. I haven't looked back since.
Being able to keep your wrist in one place and move across the entire screen is something you have to experience for yourself. Before, trackballs were sort of an oddball, but the Marble Mouse made them affordable, attractive, and reliable. The lack of a wheel will only bother you for a short period - before long, you won't even miss it.
After two or three years, the left button started to act sluggish on and off. I called Logitech support expecting to get the same service I get from other PC companies (poor), but to my surprise they were incredible. The man simply asked for the device's serial number, and could tell the model and approximate age. He then told me it was under warranty, and in two weeks, they sent me a completely new Marble Mouse, which had the updated grey/black color scheme! I am still using that Marble Mouse today.
Fantastic service for a fantastic product - all for $20. After that, I won't even consider buying a non-Logitech pointing device.
Digital camera Review: Best controlling device, bar none Summary: 5 Stars
This is the absolute best device for controlling your computer. I've used these for over 10 years, and have owned over 4 now. They are all *still* working. Of all my vast numbers of computer equipment, this is the ONLY thing that survives. I absolutely love this thing.
Digital camera Review: Best input devics short of a pen and paper Summary: 5 Stars
Minimizes arm/wrist movement, cutting down on carpal tunnel problems. Allows the most precise control for first-person shooter games. Is the most natural input device short of a pen on paper. If I have to use a mouse, this is the only one I want. I even purchased one to hook to my PC at work (it has the added advantage of making my workstation vitually unusable by snoopy coworkers). Allows great customization of the buttons--I have it set up so the left button performs "right click" functions (I use my thumb on that side), while the right button performs those multitude of "left click" tasks (for which I use my ring finger). .... well worth the price. Buy it, love it.
