Digital camera Review: Better than more costly trackballs!

I've tried fancier trackballs by Logitech. Yet this one is still the most comfortable. Highly recommended.
The biggest issue I have is the lack of a scroll wheel. On linux, if you add the following lines to your xorg.conf:
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "EmulateWheel" "true"
Option "EmulateWheelButton" "8"
Two additional features will be enabled: 1. Simultaneously pressing both the left and right buttons acts as a middle button press. 2. Holding down the small button left of the ball changes the ball to act like a scroll wheel.

I'm sure this is a fine product, however, I may never find out. I tried to purchased this track ball through Amazon but it was somehow routed through Office Depot instead. I requested 2-day shipping. It's a week later and I still haven't received an email with the shipping information. My bank account has already been debited the full amount. When I went to my Amazon account I realized that I could have purchased the track ball direct from Amazon for 1/2 the price that I was charged by getting it from Office Depot (through the Amazon site). Also, I can't return the track ball to Amazon.com. I have to return it to an Office Depot store. Beware of ordering items from Office Depot through Amazon
Here is the fine print, according to Amazon:

For those with repetitive motion injuries, this trackball can be a godsend. I bought a few new ones and noticed that the buttons on the newer trackballs were heavier (i.e. more difficult to click). This reminds my hand of those old mouse clicking days and results in pain. The model number is the same as the older lighter touch types (T-BC21) the part number on the newer type is 810-000767. The older part number with the light touch buttons is 804377-0000. Was Logitech trying to save money on the manufacturing costs on this newer type? If you're one of those people who get annoyed with the touchpad on your laptop, then you need one of these. It's so easy to get used to and comfortable to use. The only downside to it is that the scroll buttons aren't that well placed. Overall it's great!
