Digital camera reviews of Logitech Optical USB Mouse

Digital camera Review: Excellent mouse for the price!
Summary: 5 Stars

This mouse works great for my laptop and I have had no issues with it so far. It's great if you want a mouse with not to many features that just works the way you want it to.

Digital camera Review: FYI
Summary: 5 Stars

Just in case you are wondering, Logitech's model numbers for this mouse are M-BZ96C, M-SBM96B, and MBZ96. And yes, there is a silver colored counterpart. The part numbers are PN 931781-0403 (Silver), and PN 931643-0403 (Black). Although similar in style to some of the older models, at 1000-dpi, the optical resolution on this mouse is much higher than its older predecessors. This means finer movements, which comes in especially useful for photo editing and similar tasks. There is more information about the mouse on Logitech's website. However, if you are using Internet Explorer 7 or higher, you may need to use compatibility view to view the website properly.

Digital camera Review: Fast, effortless
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this to replace a mouse I've had for three years. The old mouse squeaked, it was slow, and because it was a ball mouse, it needed frequent cleaning and worked poorly.

I just plugged this one in and ran with it. It's blazing fast and accurate, with no skipping and no noise. I'm very pleased with it. There is an option to install software to get extra features, but I haven't used it. I just want something that points and clicks and doesn't require a download. Works great.

Digital camera Review: For small hands
Summary: 2 Stars

If you have a big paw like me you're NOT going to like this mouse. It's way too narrow and feels uncomfortable. They should have called it "the ladies mouse." I returned it to AMZN immediately.

Digital camera Review: Functional, but feels too narrow for my hand
Summary: 3 Stars

My old Microsoft Intellimouse is more comfortable (wider at the back), and slides much better across my mouse pad than the Logitech. The mouse feels too narrow for me (I am female, with long, thin hands). The software that came with the Logitech works fine (Mac OS X), and the buttons and scroll wheel are responsive. However, the mouse feels cheap. But then again, it was cheap. I will keep it, but if I could make my selection over again, I would still buy a Logitech mouse, but I would buy a more expensive model.
