Digital camera Review: Great mouse for the price

So far this mouse has worked out well. I use it on a notebook computer because having to use a touchpad greatly reduces my efficiency. It fits my somewhat long-fingered hand fine. I don't like small mice. The buttons and scroll-wheel work fine for me.
This mouse has far greater resolution (sensitivity) than the one it replaced and it took me a few days to get used to that (overshooting fairly often). I am find with it now. I have to do some graphics work starting in a month and wonder how the greater sensitivity will work with graphical tasks.
It has been totally reliable but then again I have only had it for a month.
Overall It works basically as expected at a good price.

I enjoy this mouse, how quickly you can move it and how small it feels in your hand while giving you perfect control. I actually bought it for gaming, to replace a microsoft mouse which had a button worn out. I guessed that its smaller size would make it faster to use and I was correct. It zips around the screen effortlessly causing much less strain on my wrist. I think you're supposed to move mice in general with your fore arm, but most people end up using their wrists which causes significant stress on it. At least with this one, the wrist fatigue is drastically reduced. For example, I bought it to play Starcraft II, as I used to tire out after 30 minutes. Now I can go a few hours without discomfort.
The only thing that wouldn't make this a perfect mouse is that the cord is a little stiffer than I'm used to (though it breaks in over time). Even then if they were to change that it would probably make the cord less sturdy. So it is probably as good as it gets with corded mice. I prefer corded mice so that's not an issue. Batteries cause wrist fatigue.
As for precision, I personally don't believe you will see a difference after 1000 dpi, and if you do it won't be enough to matter. I don't believe in high end mice, to me it's just paying 3-5 times the money for mice that are marginally better if they are better at all. I've used Microsoft mice my whole life, and just assumed they were better for the brand name but this is quite a satisfying departure.

I had an old, roller ball, basic microsoft mouse, which did not even had a wheel, that needed a replacement and I decided to try this optical logitech one. I made the right choice. This logitech mouse is very precise, comfortable and fit nicely on my hands. This is not a laptop, mini mouse. If you are a gamer and need more buttons, certainly this is not the mouse for you. But if you need a mouse with 2 buttons, a wheel and optical, this is your mouse. Moreover, the mouse comes with a USB cord AND a PS/2 adapter, so you can use USB or PS/2. The technical description on Amazon does not mention that. My old mouse was on PS/2 and I had accepted to forgo one of my USB ports for the new mouse, but it was a wonderful surprise to open the box and see the PS/2 adapter. The mouse worked on Windows 2000 without any software, but if you want, it comes with the web address to download it from logitech. Also, the price appeared to be much cheaper than any competitor's mouse. Summary: great price, excellent product, very satisfied customer.Digital camera Review: Great product

After so long with working with a roller-ball mouse, this thing is heaven. No worries about cleaning off the ball and inside of the mouse, and smooth gliding, you get more movement/response from the arrow on the screen than with a old-style mouse. This mouse worked almost as soon as I plugged it in. It works, it does the job, but it's not a gaming mouse by any means. If you just want a great mouse that will last, no frills, buy this.
