Digital camera reviews of Logitech Premium Notebook Headset

Digital camera Review: Good sound, but lacks comfort.
Summary: 3 Stars

I've been using this headset for a couple of months. It took me a week to figure out that the strap needed to be horizontal rather than pointing down towards your neck. When I got that figured out, they were much more comfortable, but they are still a bit heavy and hurt over the ears after less than an hour of gaming.

Pros: good microphone

Cons: a little heavy, a little uncomfortable, speaker quality is nothing to write home about

I've just purchased a Zalman mic and will use it with my beloved Sennheiser PX100's.

Digital camera Review: Good sound, great mic, nice case but hurts after about 90 minutes
Summary: 5 Stars

The sound is decent for a $50 pair of headphones, but I agree it is not a set for an audiophile willing to pay $200+. Mic sounds great to others (plugged in direct, have never used the usb dongle). It definately does something to help the system out. I talked on skype at a busy coffee shop numerous times and the other end heard a bit of background noise, nothing annoying and my voice was clear. The earpieces are adjustable "up and down, and in and out", but due to their size rest on the ear, so after a while they get uncomfortable. To fit in the case the ear pieces turn 90 degrees. The case for me is HUGE (that is why I bought them). I have packed and abused the bag and still are great. Others give a pouch, if anything and I have broken things unfortunately. I doubt I will break this in my bag.

Digital camera Review: Good, but not perfect
Summary: 4 Stars

I've been using these for several years now and they're still going strong. They're comfortable enough for all-day wear, and the microphone quality is very good--people say that I sound better on these over Skype than I do on a land line. I do have a few small nits about them, though: 1) I've adjusted them to be as small as possible and they just fit my head. For folks like me with smaller-sized noggins, they just barely fit. 2) The tactile feel of the mute switch is poor; it's a plasticky slider that felt like it'd break after a few hundred uses, but it's held together through many thousands of uses. 3) The volume, at least when plugged into a Mac, is OK but I wish it could be a bit louder. It can be difficult to hear someone who's soft-spoken or far away from their microphone.

Digital camera Review: Great
Summary: 5 Stars

This headset is perfet for me. Great sound. Mic is very clear for everyone to hear. Overall a great product. Service was fine. The headset fits on my head fine and the adjustable features are nice. Great Product.

Digital camera Review: Great Buy for Notebook Headset!
Summary: 4 Stars

Logitech Premium Notebook Headset Just got my first headset for my laptop and love it! This headset comes with a USB connector to power it properly but the sound quality is excellent. I use it on SkypeŽ every day and it sounds better than any of my phones (mobile and land). It comes with a handy little travel case which was great for a recent trip. It all fit nicely into my carrying case. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is because I cannot seem to get the Mute button to work. I can use the mute feature in Skype, but when I am standing up it would be nice to not have to run back to the laptop and hit mute if I need to cough or someone is talking loud in the background. All-in-all a great product for the price.
