Digital camera reviews of Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 ( 980374-0403 )

Digital camera Review: Better Than Expected
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for my new Skype service because it was Skype certified and from Logitech. I trust Logitech and have used a Logitech mouse and track ball for years. I called someone with this headset and they told me I sounded better. I normally call on a land line. The difference is significant. I recommend this for any Skype user.

Digital camera Review: Bought after reading numerous reviews.
Summary: 3 Stars

You can read all the reviews you want, but sometimes you aren't sure if people are exaggerating. I bought these a few days ago because standard plug microphones don't work on my computer. Until now I'd been using Sennheiser PC150.
CONS: Immediately after putting on the Logitech headset the top of my head hurt as there is absolutely no padding on the top. The padding on the ear pieces are vinyl, very thin, and caused my ears great pains. The pain is greater if you wear glasses, but even without they can be quite painful. The mute button really is very sensitive and as it hangs around the lap it tends to get pressed accidentally. If you unplug them while playing online games or using ventrilo you have to close the applications for sound to resume.
PROS: They are plug and play with no drivers required (at least for XP). The noise cancelling is superb, eliminates most background noise (and even the wife). The sound quality and bass response is good for the price. Works well with ventrilo and was told I sounded just as clear as with my more expensive set. Auto mutes speakers once connected. The most promising thing about them is the are not suseptable to noise interferance from nearby cell phones.

Summary: I don't recommend them because of their comfort level, but performance wise this headset is good. Personally I will never wear mine again.

Digital camera Review: Bought just for Skype, but use them for everything now.
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these headphones to talk on Skype. I thought that would be the limit to my use of them, but I like them a lot and they've turned into my music listen headphones as well. Now I've started using them to build a little podcast too and they work great for that too. (I use Garage Band on the Mac for making the podcast.)

I read several people complaining about how comfortable these headphones are. I've not had any trouble in that area though.

Highly recommended.

Digital camera Review: Broke within one year of purchase.
Summary: 2 Stars

Recently, these headphones began to transmit only half of the sounds sent to them. Generally, I don't mind when electronics break, it's just something that happens over time. However, considering that I purchased these headphones less than a year ago, I'm disappointed that they malfunctioned so quickly.

This product worked quite well until it prematurely broke though, which is why I haven't given it one star.

Digital camera Review: Bulky, but good sound quality
Summary: 2 Stars

I'm using this with a Lenovo T42 laptop and mostly for Skype. The installation was a breeze, I just plugged them in and it worked. The sound quality is very good. But, they are very bulky headphones and are uncomfortable for long-term wear. I wouldn't recommend them.
