Digital camera Review: A few problems but good overall

I purchased the Pure-Fi to be my apartment stereo while on an extended business trip.
The case for the product is lightweight but has some firmness to it. It held up well in my checked flight baggage. There are little elastics to keep the remote and ipod adapter in place. As others have said the AC adapter fits in the case which is a bonus (you need to remove the ipod adapter first). The case is just long enough to be awkward though and doesn't fit in my laptop bag for quick trips.
The product didn't come with much in the way of instructions, but the functions are pretty easy to figure out. Having the remote is great. The speakers are solid but not too heavy.
It comes with various "adapters" for different models of ipods. These are just plastic plates to help hold your ipod and take some of the stress off of the connector. They are flimsy and fall out easily. You also still have to be a little careful attaching the ipod, as the fit with the adapter is not as snug as it could be.
The sound could use a little more bass for my liking. I don't expect thundering, booming bass with a small set of speakers, but I think they could have done a little better.
They have an aux input on the back which is a nice addition, however, it doesn't work very well at all. I was trying to use the speakers in conjunction with my computer to watch movies. It is really hard to get the volume high enough to hear dialog and there is a fair amount of buzzing when you do. It may be that the aux input on my speakers isn't grounded properly or it could be a design flaw.
Another problem with the aux input is if the volume gets a low for a short period of time, the speakers turn off automatically. I had to rewind Michael Clayton a few times at important moments when characters were speaking softly because the audio shut off.
Overall, aside from the aux input issues these are pretty good. The last Logitech speakers I got (MM22) died in about two months. We'll see how these hold up!
