I have had this product for about 6 months. I have had it replaced twice because the fm radio reception is wavy (goes in and out), no matter where in the house I place it. Was told to stretch the ac cord all the way out, which I did and it didn't help. Besides, it's for a kitchen counter and who wants to stick a dock into the middle of a counter just to stretch the ac cord out. All of my other radios play fm, including HD, just fine, so it's the product not my house or the location. When I received the last replacement and the fm was still wavy, I decided to keep it anyway because I really love everything else about it. Fast forward to about a month ago....now, not only does the fm not work, but my 4th gen nano ipod doesn't play. It plays in another dock so it's not the ipod. When I initially insert the ipod, there is a big hum and then nothing. Sometimes it will work if I push the ipod down, but even then it sometimes plays,but most often doesn't.
I also have a problem with the AC cord. There is a cord from the product to plug into a huge heavy square block (transmitter I guess) which plugs into the outlet. It is really hot when plugged in whether the product is turned on or off, and I am afraid it will cause a fire, so it has to stay out in the open. Kind of defeats a smallish table top for the kitchen.
I am sad about this because I love the design, the remote, the sound (wonderful), the size. Customer service was really responsive and wonderful for the 2 replacements I've already had, but I now must tell them to take it back or give me something else or give me my money back.
