I had been using a Creative Motion webcam... The Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF is a giant leap in technology! The resolution (Especially in HD mode!!!) is comparable to my 10M digital SLR! The tracking feature actually works, and can track TWO faces which is great for family video calls! The LightRight feature makes messing with exposure and brightness unnecessary! I bought it because my old webcam was really bad.
And I am really surprised how good the webcams already are.
The picture quality is really good and the Sound quality is amazing. I can speak without headset and everybody can here me without hearing themselves.
One not so good aspect is: The Microphone of the Webcam is a little bit to good. So when it stands directly in front of the Laptop (I don't have a computer) then my partner can just hear all the voices of my laptop but not me.
So I had to put the webcam around 2 feets away from my laptop and now it's perfect.

Now I have this webcam for a little over a month, it is a great webcam with a very good lens. Picture quality is super even under poor light conditions. Very easy to setup and use.
Now the negative: Face tracking for some reason complains about poor lighting conditions in very well lit places. Also it lacks motion detection software so if need it you'll have to buy one from a third party.
All in all it is a good webcam and after spending some money on a motion detection software I'm happy with it.

I bought this webcam because we needed one to facilitate our departments All Hands meeting. The picture quality is excellent and the stand that elevates the camera helps when you want it to follow the speaker.
I have used other cams like this and I have to say this one is the best I've ever used. Another plus is that the installation and use is fool proof. The software interface has pictures that make it clear what the function is for. I didnt have to read one manual.
I highly recommend this camera!

THIS LOGITECH WEB CAM IS SO GREAT FOR ALL BUYERS. I WAS LOOKING FOR A QUALITY WEB CAM THAT ALSO HAVE LIGHT SENSITIVITY I'M NOT MUCH OF A PERSON WHO LIKE TO SEE THEMSLEF ON A CAMERA BUT THIS PRODUCT SHOW EVERY INCH IN NICE TONE COLORS. WITHTHE 2.O UPGRADE THAN OTHER WEB CAMS THAT'S BELOW 2.0 JUST WASN'T GIVING ME GREAT PICTURE QUALITY EVERYTHING WAS DARK, BLANDAND ALSO WASN'T WORKING WITH OTHER WEB CAM PROVIDERS LIKE AOL, YAHOO. THIS CAM WORKS WITH ALL THOSE COMPANY SO IF YOU WANTA GREAT WEB CAM LOGITECH IS THE WAY TO GO
