I originally wanted this webcam for my laptop. When I saw it I noticed it would be too big to carry in my bag so I decided to give it to my parents. The sofwate works great. The camera movement does not always work but it is good enough. I originally thought that the stick the camera sits on was able to go up and down to adjust it's height but it is static. Works well. The camera is as high res. as you can get . Set up is easy. Only downside is that you must set the camera in front of you to look like your looking at the receiving person as you talk to them. All in all good product . This web cam is pretty good over all but have had a few issues. The good points, easy to set and start using and a good clear picture. The not so good points, when using the auto focus it tends to go out of focus and you have to switch back to manual. Also the auto tracking is pretty poor, it doesn't really stay with you all that well and is jerky. Lastly, the camera can not broadcast the video very well if you move fast at all. I was some what disappointed with the overall product for the amount I paid for it. If your going to spend $100 or more, keep looking.Digital camera Review: Good camera good audio

This is the second camera we bought after a very successful test of the first camera. Both worked very well with Skype and H.323 standard VOIP. I would have liked voice tracking rather than just face tracking but it was acceptable for this level of technology.Digital camera Review: Good picture, good sound

The hardware and software installed flawlessly and it has been used with Skype and Windows Live Messenger.
I am happy with the video and audio quality. The auto exposure works well in dim light. The face following feature prefers to follow bright lights if your face is in shadow so I had to turn if off. Bad lighting also fooled the auto focus once; so for best results make sure you face is lit. The stalk raises the camera for showing more than the underside of your chin. The mic does not cause feedback and ringing when used with speakers so you don't need to use headphones.
