Digital camera Review: A Great camera compared to the rest.

I purchased the pro 4000 to be able to see our grand children while traveling in the air force. The camera was very clear and the video could be viewed on full screen. The software interfaced very easly with win XP. Our son bought a logitech messenger which was good. He tried an express and returned it due to very poor video. The mount was solid but I was prepared for replacing it. I would recommend it without a problem.Digital camera Review: A good device

I bought this web cam for my son and daughter-in-law who live hours from us. We have used the QuickCam and generally it does a good job. With a lot of motion the picture is a little fussy but not problems otherwise. Setup was easy. Emailing videos is easy. and live video setup was easy.Digital camera Review: A lot of noises

This is a fine webcam. Installation was smooth, the software that came with it was pretty good for windows 98 to xp. The image quality was Okay, but that's all that I can say about it. At resolution of 640X480, there are a lot of noticable noises which does happen to my FAR VEO webcam which works under a lower resolution though.The overall bulid seems not quite solid but it's okay if you don't always carry it around.
At this price, I would like to say the overall picture quality is a little bit disappointing, but you probably won't be able to find anything much better than this one on the current market.

The reviews that you see about the poor mechanical design of this webcam is really true. Don't get carried away and buy it like I did. It is just not worth the money. There are tonnes of better products at much better prices.
I wish I could return mine though!...It is too late now!

Pro's:
1. Excellent low light capability.
2. High quality picture.
3. Easy to install.
Con's:
1. Unstable (cheesy) tripod (stand).
2. Very inadequate operating manual.
3. Unfriendly manual focus ring.
