This is my first time buying a web cam....and I have to say is, it's a great product. One feature I like, is the feature where it track your face. You don't have to play around with the software to pinpoint the face.
One big bad factor about the logitech...the software. When U try to install the program, it will install an "Adware" call BackWeb.
It's a no no. The Backweb program can install and upload information from your computer with out your notice. Plus, you can get a trojan without noticing it. Luckly I had Pestpatrol to clean it out. If it wasn't the software problem...I would have given it a 5 stars

I bought this camera for my P4 HP laptop (xz295). It crashed the computer 6 times and froze the video after 2 seconds. I am returning it now. Check the logitech.com user forum before buying this camera to make sure your computer will work with it. I have tried many cameras and compared them together. This is the best Camera I have seen with very sharp pictures. I do a chat with my friend who is studying at college and I am more than satisfied. This is a great webcam, very handy , easy to use. We have recorded lots of small video clips and send it to our friend and relatives. They all like it and few of them have purchased this webcam just after seeing those videos. The resolution on this webcam is a true 640x480 pixels, so the picture quality is very sharp. Best for video conferencing. Still images of 1.3 megapixels gives you good picture. It is a higher version of Pro 3000, with a Digital Zoom. Cool feature. Before buying this product, I bought a Logitech Quickcam Express, but the picture quality was very poor. Price is higher, but it's worth it if you use this camera very often.
