Digital camera Review: Easy to install, very good image quality, solid software

I'm using a webcam for an industrial application. I though I'd need a higher end IP camera. I tested a few webcams first, and the image quality of the Logitech QC Pro 4000 was good enough that I didn't need to move to a several hundred dollar device. None of the others were. I'm impressed that they've been able to get this quality of image in so inexpensive a device.
Pros:
- Image quality, as stated. Very good, clear, crisp. Videos I've taken with this are great for a webcam. Comparing to other webcams, others were much more grainy.
- Installation couldn't be easier. I'm using win xp and this is plug and play. Once it's installed, you can just open MyComputer and the webcam is there to be doubleclicked, just like one of your hard drives.
- The software that comes bundled with it is flexible and easy to use.
- The new base is more solid and holds the camera better -- the model from a few months ago was a little loose.
- Nice long ubs cable... so you won't need an extension
Cons:
- Only one, and it probably won't effect most people's use. I need to use two of these at once for my application, and the software can't zoom on both of them -- only one can be zoomed and the other stays fixed. But if you're using this as a conventional single camera this won't be a problem for you.

I've had this camera for over 2 and a half years now, and I use it every day for work. It's great, clear quality, and the audio isn't too shabby either. I paid $79.99 for it at the time, and it was still a good deal even back then. I now have a Logitech Quickcam 5000 as well, but I still love this camera, and considering how much more they want for the 5000, this one's not far behind it in quality at all for the price. This camera has made me thousands of dollars, so I certainly have no complaints. :)Digital camera Review: Excellent

The webcam is awesome. When used with the yahoo super cam feature, the video conferencing chats are very lively and offers excellent picture quality. This product is worth a lot more, when we consider some cool freebie softwares that come along. Excellent buy.,

I bought this camera on the web to stay in touch with my parents when my wife and I moved to a new city. My parents have a DSL link and I have a DSL link to the net. The image that my parents see generated by this camera is of surprising quality. They bought a logitech camera--the orbit one that employs mechanical face tracking. For some reason, their camera produces an image with a much slower frames per second. When I see them, it is not so good. The voice is as good as the average cell phone call. We used MSN messenger over the net. Yahoo messenger did not give us more than one frame per second which is useless. We find the face tracking technology can be a bit cumbersome and generally turn it off. Sometimes it locks into something behind the person rather than their face. My parents are going to try an purchase the 4000 camera and will take back the orbit version.
