This is a nice (and expensive) camera that works fine under Mac OS X. Installation is easy and it provides excellent image quality. But DO NOT buy this camera if you plan to use it under Windows on your Mac (on BootCamp, VMwareFusion or similar products). For some reason, Logitech does not provide drivers for the QuickCam Vision Pro for Windows and it only works under Mac OS. If you need a camera that works with Mac OS and Windows (for use with Messenger for instance), you will have to look for another option.Digital camera Review: Easy to Use

We needed a webcam that worked with macs and this was the one (well, almost the only one advertised as mac ready without additional programs or settings). What we like best is that it was plug and play for us. Nad the picture and sound are great (at least for the Skype account we have--whish isn't perfect). Bought this webcam for my 22" monitor for my minimac. Worked great out of the box. Just attached the cables and voila! It was done. Had read the reviews and waited for good price to make it happen. Enjoying iChat with family members and video is great even talking w kids who are studying abroad. Couldn't ask for anything easier. This minimac was our first Mac in the house. Now we are up to three. And not looking back.
