If first is bumping your memory, second has to be getting a decent set of speakers. And these fit the bill.
Cheap, good sound (great for price), easy to set up, easy to fit in your space.
Play with placement - the subwoofer will sound different depending on location/bass levels, and the speakers will be different in different locations - I have mind placed back near the wall, over the top of my desktop machines. Sound is very spacious, reasonable deep. And the on/off/volume speaker volume control is separate, which lets you put that by your keyboard while the speakers are parked where they sound best.

I bought these speakers as a cheap alternative to a 5.1 or 7.1 system, since I will be moving shortly, and do not want to risk damaging a nice expensive system. I didn't expect much, and for $20, wasn't really thinking about the quality--I just needed some audio feedback on my new rig.
However, I have to say, I am quite impressed. For a 2.1 system, the sound is very clear, with little static, even with the volume turned all the way up. The bass is a bit weak, and does start to rattle when the volume is maxxed. However, what can you expect from an inexpensive 2.1 system. Honestly, I've had two other 2.1 systems (Gateway and some other no-name brand) and this one outdoes them both in sound quality.
My only other complaints are that the way-too-short power cord plugs directly into the bass, and the feed lines to the tweeters do also. You can plug the speakers right into the soundcard, but the sound for some reason does not come across as well. However, in order to have the bass anywhere near your computer, you need to have the computer right next to the wall socket. The six-to-eight inch long cord doesn't really even have enough length to allow you to put it on top of a full sized tower with it sitting next to the power outlet.
It's also got a nifty mic/headphone dongle. On the top-side of the dongle, there's a spinner that allows you to control volume. Then the two jacks sit underneath. It's nice, but again, since it's directly jacked into the bass with a shorter cord, you really can't place it that far away from your computer unless you don't care to physically adjust the volume from the dongle.
If you're short on cash, or you only want a 2.1 system, then I definitely recommend this product.

I've never bought speakers without hearing them first, but I'm familiar with Logitech quality, so I took a chance. What an awesome item!
These speakers sound great and the puck-like volume control is very convenient.
They are perfect for my needs. I've never enjoyed my music more.
