Digital camera Review: Audiophile enjoys!

I've been a self diagnosed audiophile for years. I own an array of high end headphones and piece part stereos/surround receivers that sound awesome with their equipment.
I have a laptop that lacks good internal speakers, a stretch I know, and I just wanted a pair of desktop speakers to keep on my bedside table so I didn't have to listen to the tinny mess the internal noise generators make.
After searching around and looking at many products I decided, based entirely on customer feedback, to risk the meager sum on these little units. I am thrilled with the sound for dollar you get from these units. The mid and low range response is not the greatest but what can be expected from a set of speakers this inexpensive? Frankly, for the dollar I am willing to bet you can't get a better set of speakers.

Great sound with a nice touch of base. All the quality in a small package. The speaker wires are really not long enough for distant placement of speakers the wire doesn't spread that far apart. The sub woofer does well it packs a punch when cranked up. The piano black color adds nice touch to the speakers and woofer which is kind of heavy but slim enough to fit just about anywhere. The volume control and mic/phone jack controls are easy to use and a big plus for me. Easy gliding volume control the whole system feels solid with no visible weaknesses. when I saw the price on these speakers, I thought they might be speakers for just average everyday use. But on using them, I was just blown away by their performance! No other speakers can perform as well for the same price! Unbeatable! The only slight problem is that sometimes there's static if you play music with very high treble.
