Digital camera reviews of Logitech Stereo USB Headset 250Digital camera Review: Good Overall - Quality components but construction a bit weak Summary: 4 Stars
This headset feels awkward at first. You kind of have to nestle the earpieces onto your ears. They don't go completely over the ears. Once I get them contoured and following the shapes of my ears, I can wear these for a few hours with no real complaints other than my ears get warm. I am surprised by the good quality of the speakers and mic. The way the parts join throughout this headset seems flimsy, though. I feel like the speakers or mic could break off kind of easily. Overall, these sound good to me, even for music (good bass and treble), and the mic is quite clear for recording audio or for other people hearing you during conversations. USB, as usual, is very convenient. However, for $30, I would expect inline volume control and sturdier construction.
Digital camera Review: Good Product! Summary: 4 Stars
This headset is a great device, but the ear phone part can hurt a little after a sustained time of use. Anyway, I would recommend this to anybody.
Digital camera Review: Good Quality, but doesn't last Summary: 1 Stars
This is a good quality headphone, but the main drawback is that it doesn't last.
Here are the list of problems that I faced with this:
1) The USB seems like a funky concept, but then it doesn't always detect on a Windows XP. You may need to try plugging it into various USB ports in the hope that it is detected
2) Poor Design -- Who thought of a design like this is beyond me. After a few days of use, the left side speaker started coming out slowly (in other words, the wire that is inside the "headband" started coming out and the left side headset dangles on a piece of wire now. Still works though and i can push it back temporarily.
3) the plastic lining on the left side headset started coming out -- weird, i could see the gum inside and can manually push it tight and make it stick for some more days. Still works though
4) The right side speaker now started coming out yesterday and i could see the actual colored wires (red, green etc) sticking out of the headband. Still works
5) Today, the left side speaker stopped working, the right side still works, so i'm guessing its hardware fault.
Bad piece of wor if you carry it around. Don't buy it as this one lasted only about 2 months for me
Digital camera Review: Good USB headset Summary: 4 Stars
I bought these for my son to take to London to use with Skype. The price was right and they were easy to setup and perform well.
Digital camera Review: Good for Mac OS X and Skype Summary: 3 Stars
Works fine for right out of the box. Mac OS X recognized it immediately. Works well with Skype and the sound is very clear. I find it uncomfortable to wear however. I have now had it three months. The headband is not padded and hurts the top of my head. The on-the-ear earphones get tiring for me. I also wish I had purchased one with a volume control. For most situations I have to set the volume at one or two percent, otherwise it is too loud.
