I am giving this headset 3 stars because it is not consisten in its performance. it worked great for about 5 days....After that started acting up. Sometimes I loose people, or people loose me. It has good cancelling noise feature for the price. The sound can be good on it, but not always. I wish I had not bought it, but I will use it for a while on Skype and to let my kids scream.Digital camera Review: Don't be really fooled by this rating...I mostly blame oil for the bad rating

I bought this so that I could have more fun playing CounterStrike
PROS:
I'm a power user so once I got the headset (from newegg) I disabled my onboard sound....
Headset worked great...nice alternative to weak output of onboard sound chips
Plug and Play Had no problem except for that one time where it kept not detecting it correctly....(should've deleted that driver from system32)
VERY STRONG QUALITY when I'm either listening to Youtube etc.
CONS:
Doesn't really have a one size fits all setting..:/
It loves oil. Whenever I eat chips/oily food...the oil from ears would seep to the muffs. Had to wipe it with alcohol cleaner every couple of days...
and then the left muff broke even when I didn't use excessive force..It just fell off.
Get a more expensive headset with bigger muffs.

I have one of the best computer systems out there today, my system is ranked in the top 100 of Nvidia SGLI gaming systems so I know my system and configurations are not the problem. This headset WILL NOT WORK! Followed the instructions, looked up the information on the Internet, tried it on my husband's system, tried it on both of my son's systems ... NOTHING! Piece of junk. I bought this for my hard of hearing father. He wears this headset 75% of the time while at his computer. Primary use is for Skype, but also used for internet radio. He reports the sound/speaker quality is very good. I ended up buying for myself the Logitech USB headset 350. Only difference is my headset has the mute button. The 350 headset is also comfortable with good quality sound.Digital camera Review: Worked perfectly
