Digital camera Review: A Great Trackball
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an excellent little trackball if you know what you're doing. As with any trackball, you will need to clean it every now and again, but that's really easy to do. Just pick it up and tap it against your hand and the ball pops right out - no need to twist or unlock anything like in previous models. Just wipe the contact points with a q-tip or a bit of tissue (or even your finger is better than nothing) to wipe off the gunk. It still works fine even with the build-up (no skipping or bouncing) it just takes a little more effort to move the ball. Sometimes it's hard to even notice when the gunk has built up.
I've been using one of these for 6 years, now, since my previous one (which was not optical) wore out. Although that one is still going strong I'm picking up a second one to use with my laptop. I like to use the trackball for gaming and photo manipulation since for me a trackball gives better speed, accuracy, and precision than a standard optical mouse. If you're a fan of trackballs this is a good one to have.

Digital camera Review: A Painless upgrade
Summary: 4 Stars

Great product that eases the pain you get from dragging your wrist around the top of your desk or wrist pad using a conventional mouse.
The only drawback is that Logitech's version doesn't have the addition buttons like Microsoft's trackball that can be used for webpage back/forward navigation. This one is simply a 3 button plus scroll wheel model.

Digital camera Review: A Trackball KILLS the Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been a video editor for about 10 years and spend a lot of time at the computer - I've been using the trackball since 2008 and my only wish is that I started using it sooner. As a MAC user I was considering the new "magic mouse" - I went down to the Apple Store and tried it out, and now I'm convinced - a trackball is a superior way to go.

I must confess though - I still have an older Apple Mighty Mouse attached to my computer (YES you can have two units attached at the same time), because sometimes I do like using my left hand to exercise my brain a bit. The track ball is for righties only.

I downloaded the latest driver updates and WOW - I now have an incredible choice of how I set up my buttons and scroll ball.

Get this trackball - it works great for me. It killed my mouse.

Digital camera Review: A breeze to use, smooth operation!
Summary: 5 Stars

Yes this trackball is a "smooth operator." Some might need getting used to this form of navigation. I sometimes find myself moving the trackball casing instead of the trackball, like a mouse, so I taped it to my desk so it wouldn't move, lol. I'm glad this trackball has no rollers to accumulate dust to decrease performance. A++++ in my opinion.

Digital camera Review: A comfortable workhorse
Summary: 5 Stars

Comfortable under my hand, sensitive and easy to clean (yet not so easy that I need to worry about the ball rolling off) this is my mouse of choice, and I own several. I do wish the wireless version was comparable, but that's no reflection on this version.
