Digital camera Review: A Decent Mic For The Price -- I'm Pleased

This is a very decent microphone for the price. I use it with Audacity, and I'm able to create clear voice recordings.
I do get a few pops on my "P's" and some other hard sounds, but I found that by moving my mouth away from the mic at an angle really helped that.
Play with it a bit, test different angles and distances, and you should be able to find that perfect "spot".
The mic is back-and-forth adjustable, the base has a lengthy USB cord, and there is also an on-and-off switch.
A nice buy for the price ...

If you're looking for a good microphone for Internet telephony, gaming or recording podcasts, this is it! This microphone is USB so you don't need a sound card to run it. Windows XP automatically recognizes the microphone, so you don't need to install any drivers. The sound quality is quite good for this price range. I would recommend going into the Sounds and Audio Devices control panel and turning up the input volume on the microphone to get a proper level. We bought two of these microphones mostly to use with Skype. They were very easy to set up, the computers recognized them and they were working immediately. We have had no problems. Occasionally the person at the other end of the phone would complain of a strong echo but I am not sure if this due to Skype or the microphone picking up sounds from the computer speakers.
