these seriously are great speakers for the $...they are not ridiculously loud, but I bought them to provide nice background music for the house---they are very clear and loud enough for our purpose. I already have a sony USB speaker. This is much much better than other one I have. The sound quality is clear. Some speaker will not give proper output if a song has more bass. This is so clear.
Cons: If I try to set maximum volume, the sound is not clear.

These are some awesome speakers. I have no comment on the Vista thing as I use XP... and furthermore for the record: XP Vista. Vista sucks, quit using it. But I've had these for almost 3 years now with my Dell Inspiron E1505, and they've been awesome. I love that they're so portable! Good quality sound, I play music and watch videos and do a little gaming on my computer and these things just rock. Proud owner a several Logitech products!Digital camera Review: Awesome!

I bought this for my Thinkpad T61.
Sounds really really good and does not
consume too much of power.I like the USB connectivity,
but it could have been better had it included an option
to connect to speaker input for sound while USB just for power.
Buts thats a minor one, I can live with that.
