Digital camera reviews of Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks (Dark Silver)Digital camera Review: Compact, User Friendly and Travels Well Summary: 4 Stars
Very reliable little fellow that fits my large hand very well (I wear an XL glove); doesn't care if I unplug the receiver and is readily (without provided software) recognized by Vista OS. OH, and I hate Touch Pads!!
Digital camera Review: Compact, lightweight and responsive Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second one of this model, the first one died... could not stand the abuse from my 3-year-old. But, I just love these. Very quick response, very good battery life, compact and cool looking. Would definitely recommend this one to anyone.
Digital camera Review: Comparable to Microsoft 4000. Well-built and improved over older models. Summary: 5 Stars

I use my Thinkpad laptop quite a lot, so a reliable wireless mouse that's both low-maintenance and comfortable is very important to me. I have used an older model of Logitech wireless notebook mouse before and frankly I was not too impressed. Compared the said older model with my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000, which has been my mouse of choice for almost a year now, the older Logitech model came up short on a few design considerations. First, the general feel of key presses: Microsoft mouse buttons are very responsive and be clearly depressed with a comfortable amount of pressure; the older Logitech on the other hand felt ambiguous at times - user doesn't know for sure if a button has been depressed. Secondly, the USB RF connector on the Logitech is always loose when reattached to the mouse when not in use, resulting in pre-mature power-drain. Luckily, LogitechV220 has been re-vamped to address just these issues. Now I use my trustworthy Microsoft 4000 and the Logitech V220 almost interchably and not even noticing the difference a lot of the times. And I believe that's a good thing, a well-built mouse should be unobtrusive and becomes almost a natural extension of the computing environment - something that's so natural users don't even realize its presence. In this regard, Logitech V220 has done a tremendous job to up their previous effort.

This little mouse is perfect for using on laptops. I keep mine right next to my living room chair where I use my computer. If my thumb starts getting tired, I switch to this device and roll the mouse on the arm of my chair where the sensor has the same tracking response as on a smooth surface.
The ergonomic grooves on the sides of the mouse are rubber coated which makes them easy to rest your fingers in. My thumb feels better when it relaxes in this groove. There are also some smoothed out depressions on the click buttons. These features make it more comfortable to use.
The shape and size really work for me. I thought it would be too small but in fact I find it more comfortable than a regular mouse. Somehow being able to fit your whole hand over it makes it more comfy.
The mini-receiver slides into place on the bottom of the mouse and sits securely. I have dropped the mouse several times when the receiver was on the mouse and it stayed on. And the mouse worked after being dropped several times so it seems fairly durable.
This is a handy little gadget--I say try it!
Digital camera Review: Cordless Optical Mouse Summary: 5 Stars
Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks (Black)
This is an excellent mouse. It is easy to install and use. The range is very good. It stores the wireless USB in the mouse body (automatically turning off the power). I previously tried the Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 4000 which I rate poor. The USB link storage is unreliable and the battery compartment opened accidentally on many occasions.
