When I purchased this mouse I wasn't familiar with how to rate a mouse on workable distance. I wanted to sit back with my laptop hooked up to my big screen and work from about 8 to 9 feet away. The mouse itself hooked up to my laptop and worked almost instantly because I downloaded drivers for it right away. I like the feel, just about the right size. I like the scrolling.........works fine but what has impressed me the most is being able to sit on the couch and use the armrest to work the mouse. It works great!! The one thing I didn't get was the distance I wanted. The range is limited to about 3 feet at the outside. The price was fine for the ability of the unit but I am going to have to find one that works at a higher frequency range giving me better distance. The USB stick is huge, do not buy, You can get a mouse with a MICRO-USB WIRELESS ADAPTER for the SAME PRICE. This usb adapter is from like 2004 seriously, that thing is annoying.Digital camera Review: Don't know how I lived without this

I never bought a mouse with my laptop. I don't know why, I just never got around to it. The touchpad is annoying to use all the time so I finally got this great mouse. It was so easy to set up and it works great. It's comfortable, the right size and the USB key comes out and attached to the bottom of the mouse for storage. I bought this so my daughter would be able to play games easier on her own than using the touch pad, and she is handling it nicely (she's 2 and a half), and I like it myself! Easy to use, glides along nicely.
