Digital camera reviews of Logitech V450 Cordless Laser MouseDigital camera Review: A mouse of reliability Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the new Magic Mouse with my Mac Mini and then had second thoughts. The Magic Mouse was 69 bucks full of bells and whistles that would be fine for gamers and others who would put those features to good use. But me..I'm just your basic, surfin the web, emailin, run of the mill computer guy and I'd never use 80% of the other stuff on the MM so I took it back.
I'd heard Logitech mice worked well with Macs so I did some research the Logitech v450 cordless laser mouse caught my attention as a no frills, get the job done meeska.
Yeah I heard it was small and wouldn't be adequate for day in day out use and that it doesn't function on some surfaces, etc..
And I was a bit dissapointed when I saw this mouse in the bubble pack as it was, indeed, pretty small and was afraid it might get lost in my big hands. It was 20 bucks less than the glamorous Mighty Mouse so I purchased it with a bit of apprehension.
However upon further review and actually using it I find it fits my hand quite well and I am comfortable with it and the way it conducts its business as a good mouse should.
I like the way it connects instantly with my Mac desktop and and my pc laptop as well.
Haven't seen it malfunction on any surface yet and it seems to be well constructed.
I'm no techie but this mouse IMO is darn good.

Digital camera Review: A real, living mouse would be more helpful than this thing Summary: 1 Stars
I really, really wanted to like this mouse. It seemed like the perfect solution to my problem: the wire on my desktop's mouse was too short to reach my newly rearranged home office. I love that you can turn it on and off to save the battery, and that you can store the usb connector on the underside of the mouse. Unfortunately, that's where my praise ends.
The Blue Screen of Death is less frustrating than this mouse. It skips, it's slow, it takes me sometimes 4 or 5 clicks for it to register. I've tried it on smooth surfaces, finely textured surfaces, assorted mousepads and mouse rugs, all to no avail. When it doesn't work, I actually pick it up and shake it, yell at it, then try it on another surface where it works for a second, then back to endless "swirling and clicking." Such a waste of time. I may just go through the aggravation of rearranging my office again to use my old trusty ball mouse.
I read another person's one star review, and they suggested that bad performance may have to do with interference of a Linksys router, which is what I have. Maybe Logitech should look into this before we come with torches to hurl these mice at their offices.
Digital camera Review: A smooth and excellent wirless mouse Summary: 5 Stars
1. Good wireless connection, no hesitation at all.
2. easy to install (next to none, plug and play, except intalling Logitech setpoint software)
3. Excellent, precision tracking.
4. smooth verticle and horizontal scrolling.
5. Nice design (looks and feel)
This product totally make me confident on Logitech products, since this one I have bought 2 other Logitech products (webcam and VX mouse).
Digital camera Review: A surprisingly good mouse Summary: 5 Stars
I wasn't expecting this mouse to impress me, I just wanted something small to keep in my laptop bag. However, it fits in my hand so nicely and works so flawlessly, that it has become the mouse that I keep hooked up to my computer all day long. I would recommend this mouse for anyone using a laptop. I would also recommend it for anyone just looking to get away from wires and clutter on the desktop that doesn't need 14 buttons on their mouse.
Digital camera Review: Absolutely Perfect Mouse. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought a Logitech V450 Mouse just to days ago, and it's perfect. I hooked it up to my MacBook, downloaded some cool software to customize it, and it works like a charm. The buttons feel great, even after extended use. The click wheel works perfectly, and the whole mouse is just the right size. I haven't had any problems with connectivity; the little wireless dongle works great and the mouse is always accurate.
The software lets you choose which buttons do what, and I made the "Click scroll wheel" command Quick-Look a document. So handy.
The laser tracking works really well, even on my uneven wood desk. The mouse doesn't jump or skip.
I recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a high-quality notebook mouse without the high price tag. It works on Windows and Mac, another plus.
Great mouse, and affordable too. Get one.
