I've been using this mouse for 10 months and have not had to change the batteries!!!!!
The mouse is a great size (compact but comfy, and definitely NOT "mini"), accurate, easy to transport, nicely designed (receiver tucks away in mouse), and is super reliable.
I still can't believe the mouse is working flawlessly for so long...and without a battery change.
This is the best mouse I've ever owned. It has all the qualities you could hope for in one compact, attractive package.

The one I got was defective; I have to hit the left mouse button multiple times to get it to work, and at an odd angle to get the button to click. It is continuously annoying. After getting my first laptop recently, I got tired of the mouse pad really quick! After hearing me complain, someone let me borrow a logitech for my laptop one day. I was extra impressed because I use Linux on my laptop and everything was flawless; I ordered my own the very same day. Overall, the product is average. I used this on a desktop, and sometimes when using the mouse that it is not very smooth.
If you find good deal for VX Nano, I would go for it even though it's $10 to $20 more.

This mouse is perfect for the 10.1 inch Acer Netbook I recetnly purchased on Amazon. No wires, super small receiver, and great accuracy. Plus, you can pack the tiny receiver in the battery compartment when you travel, and, to conserve battery power, you can manually turn the mouse off when you're not using it. Very comfortable to use, great size for travelling, and it does what it is designed to do. Highly recommended.
