Digital camera reviews of Logitech V450 Cordless Laser Mouse

Digital camera Review: Awesome mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

Price was right, product is great. Can't give it anything other than 5 stars. Just remember to "turn it off" when not in use and the batteries really last. Comfortable and responsive. While marketed for mobile, it works great on a desktop as well.

Digital camera Review: Best Buy!
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this mouse based on a recommendation from an IT friend and it has proven to be the best wireless mouse. The controls are easy to use, it has great range and the battery has fantastic life span. Definitely a product worth the money.

Digital camera Review: Best Mouse I've Ever Owned
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this mouse a year ago to go along with my new laptop. I wanted a wireless laser mouse because I hate wires taking up my already limited desk space and the laser for its precision and low maintenance (maybe have to blow a hair off the laser, but no pesky dirt build-up you get with a ball mouse).

First of all, the battery life is excellent! I use this mouse approximately 40 hours a week and when I am not using my computer I have left the mouse on. After a year I am still using the Duracell batteries provided in the packaging. According to the program provided with the mouse, the batteries are still good and showing more than half their life left.

Second, the receiver fits flush against the bottom of the mouse, something you won't get with other cordless mice.

Third, the laser is in the same place it would be on a normal corded mouse or where the ball is located on a traditional mouse. This means there are no awkward movements to move the mouse where you want it, as I have experienced with mice that have odd placements for the laser.

Fourth, it is lightweight and ergonomic. I use it for internet browsing, traditional office duties, and a variety of gaming. It fits neatly into my Targus carrying case. You can plug and play or install the Logitech program to customize the buttons. I have used this mouse in and around all types of wireless networks in hotels, coffee shops, my home, and office without any trouble at all. If you're worried about weight you can get the Logitech V320 (basically it's a V450 with AAA instead of AA batteries)

Finally, I loved this mouse so much I bought several others and have given them as gifts to friends and family to replace their ball and chain...I mean ball and wired mice. All of them have called within days to express their gratitude and several asked where they could purchase another for all their home and work computers.

I love this mouse and highly recommend it. For the money you will simply not find the battery life, quality, ease of use, customization, and great design.

Digital camera Review: Best Wireless mouse I've owned
Summary: 5 Stars

The best qualities of this mouse are:

*Small profile USB receiver, and it stores within the mouse, which automatically turns mouse off.
*Battery life is GREAT, and NO CHARGING! It takes 2 regular alkaline AAs, and that will last a LONG TIME. It automatically powersaves when not in motion.
*Very Precise!, and I usually don't need a mouse pad. Most any surface works. When I'm at the airport, my laptop can rest on my lap, and I just run the mouse on my knee! Very effective doing this on the plane as well.
*I love the left/right wheel button ability. I have it set for web browsing for Back/Forward page advancing, and I use it ALL the time.
*range is better than I thought it would be with such a tiny receiver.

CONS:
(just a few minor irks)

*On a glossy surface, (like my fake marble coffee table) I find the laser precision slows down. Maybe too reflective? not sure.....and I also have a GLASS computer desk, and the laser will NOT recognize a glass surface as a "solid" surface, so it won't work at all on transparent glass...But I just use a mousepad or most "any" sort of surface for these situations.
* Since I use as my laptop mouse, I do wish it was a 'little' smaller for travel purposes...but the size is very comfortable for daily use as a main mouse.

Digital camera Review: Best mouse EVER!
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband is a graphic designer and as you can imagine, is on the computer for hours every day. Not being big on new technology, he uses the same old mac mouse that comes with the system every time he upgrades.

He's starting to get carpal tunnel in his wrist, so I got him a Logitech MX Laser mouse. He hated it. Thought it felt like holding an iron. Too big and heavy. So, waited a while, did more research and got him the V450. He loves it! It's small, but not too small and light-weight. He uses it with his desktop computer every day. When he wants to use it with his laptop he just unplugs the usb receiver, stores it in the mouse (convenient!) and goes. We highly recommend this mouse.
