Digital camera Review: 64 bit Software Caution

I purchased and installed the V450 Nano mouse on a new Toshiba Laptop (4mb of RAM)running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit, SP2; then downloaded Logitech's SetPoint 64 bit software ver. 4.72.40. Everything works properly.
But after deciding that I don't use SetPoint and trying to uninstall it, I am unable to do so. When trying to uninstall from the Control Panel (per the Logitech instructions) the Install Shield Wizard returns an error message - "Sorry, this version of software is not compatible with your operating system. [...]
I've verified that the install routine installed the files into the Program Files folder and everything is working properly, so I surmise that Logitech didn't include an 64 bit uninstall routine with the 64 bit version of the software.
Since the SetPoint software installs on every boot-up, I'm stuck with it, so far. Use caution if you decide to install SetPoint - at least the 64 bit version.
