Digital camera reviews of Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Black)Digital camera Review: Almost the perfect mouse Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this at BJ's wholesale store for $44.99 + tax. It has the perfect design for someone who seeks a smaller mouse. I don't know who started the trend with these huge gaudy mice that have all the bells and whistles. But that was a travesty.
This however, is not. It fits perfectly in your palm. The scroll wheel can click or spin like the wheel on price is right. the receiver is tiny and hardly noticeable.
So why 4 stars and not 5? The forward and backward buttons are in a weird place. They're next to your index finger instead of your thumb. It gets a little getting used to, but it's not horrible.

Digital camera Review: Almost the perfect notebook mouse Summary: 4 Stars
I'm very satisfied with this little mouse. I used to carry a Logitech VX but even though it's a small mouse, it was to big to fit it into my notebook`s case, so I really apreciate the fact that VX nano's depth is much less than VX's. Connectivity is great, and all I had to get used to is turning of the mouse before throwing it into the case, and that wasn't really much of a hassle to me. Battery life? Great too. The only complaint I have so far is the position of the third and fourth buttons, since I was used to surfing the web pressing these two buttons with my thumb, and given the location of these buttons it the VX nano, they are to be pressed with the same finger used for the right button, so now, even though I've tried to get used to web surf using VX nano's third and fourth buttons, I find myself ussing internet explorer's next and back buttons.
Digital camera Review: Alright, but nothing new here, save the receiver. VX and MX work better Summary: 3 Stars
So, I don't really have any real gripe with this mouse; I don't like the feel as much as the vx revolution (and the larger MX) - which I both prefer, but that's subjective.
However, overall the mouse seems not as sturdy, and the lone new feature, the 'nano' receiver is cool - but badly implemented if you DO want to remove it: While thx VX had a smart slide-in clicker on the bottom for it's normal size USB receiver, on this mouse you need to open the battery door every time you want to remove and insert it!
What gives? This is miniature, yet Logitech regresses on their earlier innovation and makes it harder to actualy use it? Granted, if you really leave the receiver in all the time, it's no big deal. But the mouse, overcall, seems a bit of a half-way there thing. I prefer the VS, both subjectively and in terms of it being seemeingly though out much more thoroughly.
Digital camera Review: Amazing Mouse! Summary: 5 Stars
Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for NotebooksThis amazing mouse was recommended by one of my students at a technical university. I carry it with me everywhere and bop back and forth between my classroom computers, my laptop, and my desktop at home. It ISN'T line-of-sight, but RF enabled so from all sorts of angles and distances, it moves the cursor. It's great for presentations, too. BTW, I am an English professor not a technical prof. I actually have students now wanting to make presentations (instead of the usual dread) because they love my mouse! Also, the "button" that plugs into the mouse (it's in the pic) fits neatly inside the mouse and turns off the battery thus saving battery life. No other electronic product that I own so completely pleases me. I have zero reservations about this mouse.
Digital camera Review: Amazing Shopping Experience Summary: 5 Stars
I was surprised the item showed up right next day, and the shipping was free! I couldn't rave more about this mouse. It's compact, sleek, and ready to use right out of the box. The case that comes with it is a nice touch, though it's a bit loose for the little mouse. I've always wanted a wireless mouse that you can turn on and off to save the battery when not in use and this mouse let you do just that by simply pressing a button or storing the tiny USB receiver in a slot inside. The receiver is so small you can leave it plugged in when I need to put my laptop in the case. The only thing I am not crazy about is that you have to open a little cover to get to the receiver slot, unlike some other Logitech models which let you snap the receiver right into the mouse. Overall, it's a very-thought out product.
