Digital camera reviews of Logitech VX Revolution Ergonomic Design Cordless 2.4 GHz Wireless Laser Mouse for Notebooks/Laptops/PCs with Hyper-Fast Scrolling

Digital camera Review: 2 Down
Summary: 1 Stars

I really like the way this mouse functions, but..

After a couple of months, the left button no longer worked consistantly. Logitech replaced it. The second one lasted for an even shorter time. Again, it was the left button, only this time it quit working all together. I'm not sure if I will bother trying to get it replaced. My old Logitech MX400 is still working well.

Digital camera Review: A BETTER MOUSE WITH NO TRAP
Summary: 5 Stars

In the past year I have purchase three of these little darlings; for work, home, and laptop. They fit the hand well and the scrolling, both vertical and horizonal, are lightening fast. I spend about 5 to 6 hours per day with a large spread sheet and this mouse saves me about an hour of time each day. The zoom feature helps when the eyes get tired and things start to run together on the screen. Battery life is great! For me and my above average use I get between 60 to 90 day on a battery. The one I use with my note book I put a lithium battery in and I have used that for nearly a year now. Advertising says it is a note book mouse, but I use these for anything I want to. By far this mouse is the best I have ever touched.

Digital camera Review: A good mouse packed with features
Summary: 4 Stars

Pros:
- very smooth scroll wheel
- ergonomic feel, somehow my wrist hurts less using this mouse
- decent battery life
- excellent precision
- a variety of mouse button such as side scroll, search, zoom, forward, back.
- Wireless receiver for USB port stores inside mouse

Cons:
- not all of the mouse button features work. They are convenient but I am not going to go through all of the trouble to try and find out how to program and assign these buttons
- laser tracking can get kinda weak depending on surface. I had a table that was not smooth, like a matte surface and the laser could not interpret the movements accurately.

overall, i still thought it was a very good mouse, but a bit pricey.

Digital camera Review: A great desktop mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

Don't think this is just for notebooks. It's a great size for normal desktop use, which is how I use mine. I just wore out my first version of this (after a couple of years use) and quickly bought the same thing. I have big manly hands (for a geek), and it's not too small for me. I actually think it's a bit on the large size for a notebook/netbook mouse. Most are smaller.

I doubt the ergonomics would be great for left-handed use, but for right handers, just fine. I only use a few of the programmable buttons, but it's nice that thay are there.

Battery life seems pretty good, maybe 6 months or so. And then when it is time to replace, it's only a single AA battery.

A bit pricey for a mouse, but having bought two of them, I think they are worth it.

Digital camera Review: A great stuff
Summary: 4 Stars

The cordless mouse is very convenient for me, and the performance is good. I do recommend that.
