When our daughter moved further away, we went to web cams to talk to her. Much better than just talking on the phone. This camera is great. Easy setup. The logictech Webcam Pro 9000 (not to be confused with the Logictech Quickam Pro 9000) is awesome! Easy to setup and use. Best picture and autofocus features I have seen. Everyone that I video chat with is amazed by the great picture quality! This is the best in a consumer level webcam. Do not settle for second best. I ordered this product in Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging. This 'new' product had fingerprints and a number of hairline scratches on the piano-black front. Is FFP Amazon's clever marketing method for reselling returned products? Mine came in a plain corrugated cardboard box, although the Logitech logo was printed on the inside of the box.
The camera works fine, and I'm happy with its performance and quality, but I do believe I paid full price for a used product.

The video quality is great! It's also very easy to connect, mount, and use. I plugged the USB into my computer, then I opened MSN and I was able to video-and-sound-connect right away. In addition, I like very much the fact that it has a built-in microphone. That saved me buying an additional microphone piece.
