I bought this a month ago to replace a Logitech pair that had worn out and had given me good service for several years. This seemed like a good replacement. It isn't. It's complete junk.
The remote keyboard constantly loses contact with the receiver, located just three feet away, with nothing interfering with it. I have to keep the receiver right next to the keyboard, which negates the usefulness of it being wireless. The mouse is buggy too. It is virtually impossible to find a setting that allows it to operate smoothly and not jump all over the screen.
This system wasn't expensive, but it was still an enormous waste of money. I am going to replace it with a Microsoft wireless system that will probably cost three times as much, but will at least work. If I still had the original packaging, I would send this garbage back.

One of the best ever keyboards plus mouse and I have been using computers since 1985. In the past I have paid this much just for a mouse, so it's a great deal. The first one I received was faulty so I had to return it which was easy to do at no expense. This mouse and keyboard is great for my needs. I use it on the desktop and the computer is on the floor. The USB unit does not need a line of sight with the mouse or keyboard to work. The keys are quiet and don't make slapping clicks when the keys are depressed. Pretty good typer here, not a pecker, so the quitness and softness of the keys are excellent. The features like volume on the keyboard, home page, e-mail, etc all work. I had to load the software with it to fully use all the features but it was a sinch to install. The style of the keyboard is great as well. When reading the reviews and seeing the mouse I first thought it didn't look very comfortable, but once i begin to use it a bit, its really not bad. I've had two Microsoft wireles KB/Mice over the last 18 months, both have proved to be troublesome and defective... My wife had a logitech mouse for her laptop, and it works flawlessly, so we gave the MK300 a go....
Easy setup, the mouse is smooth, whereas the MS mouse was "jumpy", indicative of a poor connection... For the price - I'm currently satisfied!
