An excellent addition to any desktop PC - escpecially one that is on a desktop cluttered with cables. This wireless keyboard cleans up a 'cable-busy' workspace.
This keyboard & mouse set is an easy install - all the needed drivers come with in the box. They have a substantial feel, and are very comfortable. I cannot yet comment on battery life, since I haven't been using it long enough yet. Programmable keys are easy to configure and will give you excellent shortcuts to often run programs. The mouse fits easily in the hand, and feels quite natural.
This is a great alternative to some more expensive cordless keyboards.

I have been using the Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Set for my desktop computer for a year and think it's the best keyboard and mouse I've ever used. I tried this MK 300 with my Toshiba Satellite laptop (running 32-bit Vista) and am very impressed.
I unpacked the box, plugged the receiver into my laptop's USB port, and the MK 300's mouse and keyboard worked immediately. When I installed the Setpoint software from the CD-ROM and rebooted the laptop, all the function keys worked beautifully to bring up the various Microsoft Office programs, Windows search, Windows functions (save, undo, redo), and so forth.
The USB receiver is larger than the Wave's, and the keyboard and mouse are much more compact. The mouse lacks the convenience buttons on either side that navigate forward and backward in Web pages, and the keyboard does not have the palm rest and ergonomic design of the Wave's. But the mouse and keyboard are both comfortable and as responsive as the Wave's.
If you are looking for a compact wireless desktop set for your Windows computer (not compatible with Mac OS) at a bargain price, I would definitely recommend the MK 300.

I have been using it since March 2010 and it works flawlessly. Still on the original battery and it is still going strong. I thoroughly researched cordless/wireless keyboards prior to buying this brand and model. It seemed no matter how good the overall rating was, there was always a few reviews that were so disparaging I would second-guess whether I should buy this one or not. After concluding that this was the best-reviewed overall and that to get something higher end would cost a great deal more money I decided to go for it. I purchased mine brand new from a reputable seller on ebay. I couldn't be more thrilled with this product. I have nothing bad to say about it. I pulled it out of the box and plugged the transmitter into a usb port and literally started typing and using the mouse. To hold my keyboard and mouse I use a tray and it has a glossy surface. Optical mouses do not work well on glossy surfaces so I laid a piece of paper down and the mouse works fantastic now. I use this keyboard/mouse set 6 feet away from my pc, I got a tape measure out and measured. And even though it's 6 feet away I have never tapped a key or touched a button that failed to respond. That claim someone made about it having a range of 8 inches is nonsense. Summary:Unless you want to pay $200 or more for a high-end product, this is the best cordless keyboard/mouse set you can buy at a reasonable price, and truth be told, I can't imagine what a high-end set could offer that this one doesn't, I literally have zero complaints.Digital camera Review: Excellent keyboard/mouse combo

I bought this set about a year ago to replace a truly horrible Microsoft product. This is great! The keys feel light and responsive, the mouse is accurate and with no lag, and you don't have to wake it up before it starts working. Battery life (one of the reasons I got rid of the MS product) is also great. I've only changed the batteries three times in a year and I use my PC every day. I can highly recommend Logitech if you need a basic wireless keyboard/mouse. The only thing I'd change is to get rid of the number pad on the right as it would make the unit smaller.
