Digital camera Review: 'Nother in a long line

I've been using Logitech Trackballs (I hate mice) and keyboards forever. I bought the K320 to replace an EX100, mainly because of the Unifying transmitter/software, so I could use it with the new M570 wireless trackball that replaced my Trackman Wheel.
I liked the EX100 because it was a small, bare bones keyboard and my desk space is limited. The K320 is a bit bigger/heavier but the trade off is that I got rid of the desk clutter of two of the older wireless transmitters and freed up a USB port. Both the new trackball and the keyboard run off one (really, really) teeny transmitter that plugs into a USB port.
Installation of the trackball and keyboard was simple and easy. Both are working flawlessly. Note that there is no software in the box (for the trackball or the keyboard, there are different versions depending on what OS you use). You need to download that from Logitech but that's easy. The Setpoint software configures both the trackball and the keyboard. You also need to download the Unifying software if you are using more than one device as I am.
The keyboard itself is typical Logitech. In other words: solidly built, good key feel, good standard layout. There are a few accessory keys that might be handy or not depending n your usage.
Only cons so far:
There are no indicator lights. That's on purpose, of course, but I would like one for the power on/off switch (the trackball has one that lights up for a few seconds when you turn it on). The CapsLock, ScrollLock and NumLock keys are supposed to pop up an indicator on screen but only the ScrollLock one works on mine.
Another "flaw" is the PC power key at the upper right corner. It's too easy to hit that by accident and drop the machine into sleep mode.
Other: Amazon's "What's in the Box" doesn't mention it but there is a transmitter extension in the box. It plugs into a USB port and the transmitter plugs into a little stand on the other end. It lets you move the transmitter around if you are having reception problems. My trackball & keyboard are 7 feet from the transmitter and I haven't had any reception problems at all.
Installation is on a WIN 7 64 bit desktop. I've also installed the M570 Trackballs on two WIN XP 32 bit laptops with no problems so I would expect that this keyboard would work equally well as an external for a laptop with or without the trackball paired with it.
All in all I'm very pleased with the upgraded trackball/keyboard combo. Now if I could just get the ferschlugginer WIN 7 to recognize my printer, life would be perfect. :)
