Digital camera Review: A Quality Wireless Number Pad

I really like this number pad. Some people complain about the size or weight, but I think it's ideal. I bought a Targus wired keypad and it was so light that it would slightly move as I pecked on it. The Unifying USB receiver is great. It's very small so you can leave it in at all times and it can work with up to 6 compatible Logitech devices. I liked the keypad so much that I went out and bought a Logitech M505 mouse ($19.99 after rebate) to go with it. They work flawlessly with the one receiver (and I have a spare receiver incase the other one breaks). Logitech also makes mice and keyboards with nano receivers that look similar to the unifying receiver but aren't compatible. Look for the word "Unifying" if you want to use all your wireless Logitech devices on one receiver. You'll also have to download software from Logitech to use more than one device with one receiver.
I like that there is an on/off switch on the bottom. When I work from home, I will close my laptop when I take a break to keep the little ones from adding random text to my documents. With the N305 I can turn the keypad off as well. The sides are rubber and the front is made out of flat black plastic. The back for some reason is made out of glossy black plastic and shows lots of finger prints. I agree with others that the keypad should have came with a pouch to carry it in. The reason why most people buy an external keypad is because they have a laptop and usually travel with it (even if it is just to home and back). Other than that, it is perfect. Definitely worth the $33 I paid for it.
