I agree with all the good things said in the reviews I have read.
I am hard of hearing. My hearing aids do not like a lot of audio stuff I try to listen to, like phones, earphones, etc. My laptop's speakers almost do it, but the addition of these speakers have made a world of difference. I engage in a video chat via AIM daily and I can hear the person I am talking to perfectly. I do not normally use my computer to listen to music, but just as a test I inserted a CD and enjoyed listening to Pavoratti sing several arias and the sound was great.

I've had my own set of these speakers for a couple of years. They work flawlessly. I bought this latest set for my wife because she loved the quality of sound she's heard coming from mine. No, these do not rival my Bose speakers, but for office use and casual or background music listening, they are fantastic. Here's a great testimonial to their lifelike reproduction: The day I hooked them up, I was playing a "new age" nature CD with the sounds of a bubbling brook in the background. While I was away from my desk, a co-worker heard what she thought was water running in my office. After searching my office for the problem, she called Maintenance to report a broken pipe in the wall! Like I said, these are awesome speakers for the price.
