Digital camera Review: Awesome ... while it lasts.

I seriously love this keyboard ... but won't buy it again ... and I'm even researching other options as I type this.
I'm at my computer 2~3hrs every day, and put a decent amount of mileage on my keyboard / mouse. The diNovo looked to be exactly what I wanted for my photoediting, HTPC config. The ergonomics of the keyboard are so/so but if you're used to typing on a laptop, this is a definitely a step up. Installation is a snap ... as easy as another other bluetooth device ... since I already had bluetooth running on my PC I didn't even use the included dongle.
Performance as a keyboard is great ... the keys have a wonderfully solid feel and the touchpad is super responsive. The LED volume control is wonderful and the other 'faux' soft keys are a cool addition.
Seriously ... this is a wonderful keyboard. BUT, on the the bad ...
After 2.5yrs my 1st diNovo had to be pitched into the trash can: the battery wouldn't hold a charge more than 3 days and the buttons under the track pad stopped working. For a keyboard that costs $130usd that seems a little extreme to me - I still have my originally MS Comfort Keyboard from 15 years ago and haven't had a single problem with it. Well ... thinking this may be a fluke I purchased another diNovo. 1.5 years later and the buttons under the track pad are spongy and starting to act up ... everything else works fine, but I suspect this is the start of the downward spiral.
I would have to say I'm hugely disappointed that I'm on a 'replace every 2 year' cycle with something that should last for around a decade ... especially when it costs as much as this thing does. There are other options on market but nothing I've seen so far matches the design or features.
If you are OK replacing this thing every few years ... buy it, you will absolutely love it.

I needed a keyboard with the trackpad on it to go with my Home Theater System with my TV as the display for my Mac. I know Logitech for good quality and easy to use products so thought I'd go for this. It is expensive at retail but Amazon had a great deal I just couldn't deny. Shipping was fast. It syncs up with my Mac real quick with no problems using the built in bluetooth. I'm sure the bluetooth dongle it comes with works just as smoothly. It never looses reception and works great from the couch 20ft. away. Its made for windows so this windows specific function don't work on the map although they can be remapped using free programs. There is now a mac version of this keyboard available but if you don't need those functions and can get a better deal on this go right on ahead. Battery life is amazing and the dock is great. The modern design and black color go great with my piano black samsung tv. Only gripe i have is the trackpad isn't as sensitive as the ones i'm used to on laptops, but its definitely usable and just takes some getting used to.Digital camera Review: Awesome Product!!!

I freakin' love this thing. It looks like a work of art when it is on the stand. My laptop is normally extremely hot, so I never put it on my lap unless It's a cold winter day so I really like the DiNovo Edge, especially since it never ever gets so much as warm. It's very thin and very light. The fact that it can go for over a month on one charge is fantastic, not to mention the touchpad, which works like a charm. I've got no complaints, except for the fact that this thing is a fingerprint magnet. For anyone looking to get a good, functional, and extremely stylish looking wireless keyboard, I highly recommend the DiNovo Edge.Digital camera Review: Awesome conference room keyboard/mouse
