Digital camera reviews of Logitech diNovo MiniDigital camera Review: DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU HAVE A MAC! Summary: 1 Stars
First of all, it doesn't work with a Mac, but more importantly, why the silly cover? Anyways, I bought this thing for my media center in the bedroom and just could not stand it. I realized what i really want is a really mini keyboard with a pointing device. I found the Pro Mini Wireless Keyboard on amazon that is like 1/5 of the size and 1/2 the price. [...].
Say no to bulky keyboard in the bedroom, you can thank me later.
Digital camera Review: Decent for what I want Summary: 4 Stars
I am using the diNovo Mini to type this review and like it well enough. The backlight feature is great especially since I like to use my computer and PS3 in the dark. The keys are a bit smaller than I had envisioned, but I have small hands so it works fine for me. I am not sure how my husband's hands would do on these keys. It might work fine for him - I just don't know. I have not had any connectivity problems like some people have reportrd, but then again I am not that far from the computer. I have had a problem where I keep hitting the "windows" key frequently when I try to push the "a" button. Also, the - ' and " are hard to see because they are not backlit since you need to press the function key to use them. That is very inconvenient. The only other complaint I have is that the mouse touch pad seems to favor moving in straight lines. It does not do curves or circle type movements very well. I haven't figured out yet if there is a way to scroll without changing between the two modes. Overall I am pleased with this little keyboard/mouse. Does what I need it to do well enough.
Digital camera Review: Decent product, easy to set up, works as advertised Summary: 4 Stars
As a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, this works basically as advertised. I had no difficulty setting it up with my Windows 7 machine, and I was able to start using it right away. My usage scenario is as a second keyboard/mouse to use from the couch when watching the computer from a distance, and it works great for that. I appreciate the backlit display, and the trackpad is pretty good.
My complaints are few, but worth noting:
-The build quality could be better. It feels a bit flimsy to me, but not dangerously so. For the price I would have expected a more solid build, and I don't think the product would have suffered from being a few ounces heavier.
-I wish the keys were spaced a bit from each other, or offset rather than being in a grid. Either or both of these changes could make typing more comfortable and accurate.
-The default sensitivity of the trackpad was too low for me. This is easily remedied in the Mouse control panel in Windows, but since that setting is universal it unfortunately affects my primary mouse as well. There may be a better solution that I haven't found yet, and really mouse sensitivity is a personal preference.
-I'm not a fan of the Setpoint software. Setpoint did not work when installed from the disk provided. Thankfully, for general usage it's not necessary to use Setpoint.
Digital camera Review: Di nice Summary: 5 Stars
This is perfect for using your computer to watch stuff online. It actually has the 30+ range as advertised and was easy to connect, actually my computer MB has a Bluetooth antenna, so I didnt need the usb stick that came with it. It was also nice that the usb stick stores in the back of the unit!
I was worred that the mouse pad was going to be analog but it was it was a digital touch pad to my surprise. Auto off to save power, what more can I say...no regrets!
Digital camera Review: DiNovo Summary: 5 Stars
The device is very well thought out. Battery life is exceptional (and I'm a heavy user). For use as a media computer keyboard/mouse combo- the unit is perfect!
