Purchased 3 sets for relatives and all loved them. The speakers are more than adequate for their dorm rooms and small functions with friends.
The only downside is that the speakers cannot recharge the iPod.

This thing sucked the battery life of my ipod with superb velocity. The sound is tinny and weak, the volume a hair past a whisper (you can blare your headphones to get a better sound), just about everything about this Plastic Pete screams cheap. I would have sent it back but I'm lazy and it only cost me a few bucks. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for.Digital camera Review: Can't go wrong

Although it was inexpensive, it really wasn't worth the money. It's cheap! I don't like the base, which is a piece of metal. It's not very steady and looks cheesy. Sound is not bad. These are really cute, they fit on a nice little stand with the ipod in the middle, and everything fits neatly in an attractive black zippered case. The speakers have a good sound, though not as loud as some people might want, but for their tiny size they're a great buy.
