Digital camera reviews of Logitech mm50 Portable Speaker System for iPod (White)Digital camera Review: Best selection for the price Summary: 5 Stars
This a great gift for the price. Works well and the sound is good.
No problem as usual with Amazon.
Digital camera Review: Buy this and save your money!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Have had it for a month - been using it nearly everyday. Outstanding device for the money! Sound is good, no it can't match your home theater system with a sub-woofer, but this thing can pump out some GOOD sounds at loud enough levels to fill a 24 x 24 room... not concert levels - listening levels AND without distortion. Small, easy to pack, and it is $$$ less than Apple or Boise. You won't be sorry.
P.S. I do audio and voiceover work for a living - so if it was a rip off - I'd tell you!
Digital camera Review: Clear Sound Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best ipod speaker system I have tried. No distortion and a decent balanced range. Good quality for the money.
Digital camera Review: Compact, surprisingly rich sound for your iPod! Summary: 5 Stars
I was resigned to a portable speaker system with poor presence and non-existent bass response since I needed something that packed into a small volume. After perusing reviews here and at some Apple-oriented sites, I became aware of the MM-50 and took a chance without hearing one in person. Boy, am I glad I did!
The sound is superb given the size of the unit - room-filling but not room-rocking. The 3D signal processing works for the 50 or songs I've played since it arrived. The unit just arrived yesterday, so I can't vouch for the durability or the lifetime of the Li-ion battery. The adapter plates for various iPod generations are nicely thought out for my 4th gen 20 Gig as well as my daughter's Mini. Will follow up in a few months, but based on the sound and functionality I've experienced thus far, this thing is a definite winner!
Digital camera Review: Couldn't be more pleased Summary: 5 Stars
Part of the reason I am so pleased with this product is that I got it for a great price, only $99. As of this writing, none of the sellers has it listed that low. I made the decision to order it because so many of the reviewers commented that it compared favorably with the much more expensive Bose Sound Dock (not actually sure how you spell that), and having listened to a friend's, I have to agree.
I was looking for something inexpensive but easy to use, small enough to travel with, and with decent sound quality. This unit met or exceeded my expectations in every respect. Sure, the sound quality could be better, but for the price and size, it's more than acceptable.
