It doesn't say anything about the film it comes with, the speed or even that it's black and white. I didn't know this until I got it developed. There is no text on the wrapping or the film roll itself. Other than that the set is a good deal and much cheaper here on amazon than other retailers. For a few years I have wanted one of these camera's and in May I decided that I was going to get one. After doing some research I decided that I will pay a little more and get the starter kit. At least it will come with film that I can test run the camera.
Well, I was excited and surprised to receive my package today after only ordering a few days ago.
When I opened it I noticed that it did not come with the promised film and batteried and that disappointed me since I wanted to start using it right away. Now I wish I would have just gotten the camera.
Anyway, that is not going to stop me from enjoying my new toy and I look forward to using it.

This camera is a ton of fun. Load it up with cheap film from the closeout bin of your local camera shop. Snap away at anything at all. Double exposures, color-filled flashes, low-tech panoramics! Get your drugstore to process the film wrong (cross-process slide film) You can't mess up the pictures. They're messed up by design!
This funky counter-culture camera takes great "grunge" pictures that are a thousand times more interesting than yet another round of boring snapshots of your friends sitting around the table at Chili's smiling over half-eaten plates of chicken tenders.

The camera itself is awesome, I have no problems with it. But the picture of what comes in the kit is rather misleading. It's really just the camera, instructions, and a book. Theres no film or batteries. So just make sure you get some film when you're ordering this kit...there isn't any in it.
