Digital camera reviews of Lomographic Holga Starter KitDigital camera Review: Holga Camera Summary: 5 Stars
Good price, compared to local vendors. The Lomographic Holga Starter Kit a good package for getting into Holga style photography. Many creative technics described in the "World through a plastic lens" booklet included with the kit.
Digital camera Review: Holga Camera Review Summary: 3 Stars
Since we are still trying to figure out just how to use the camera it is hard to give it an accurate rating. So far my son is enjoying it but the first bunch of pictures he took didn't come out that well. He needs to read a bit more on the details. He is enjoying the camera and I think it was worth the money.
Digital camera Review: Holga Kit 829 comes WITHOUT FILM OR BATTERIES! Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this Holga Starter Kit and when it arrived I was missing the 120 format film and 2 AA batteries...
I called Amazon and a replacement kit was sent out, I printed out a return label and sent that kit back (Great Customer Service).
So I get the new kit and same items are missing no film or batteries...
This is Kit 829 which comes WITHOUT FILM OR BATTERIES!
What is misleading is the photo they chose to display for this kit... which shows the batteries and film.
B&H has the Kit with Film and Batteries for $69.95 (Holga Starter Kit 828)
Amazon: 5 Stars for Customer Service, 1 Star for misleading photo
Holga Kit: 5 Stars Kit 829 with WITHOUT FILM OR BATTERIES.
Give myself 1 Star for not reading the reviews first.
Digital camera Review: Holga Lomography Starter Kit Summary: 3 Stars
Did not come with all of the things in the picture, no batteries, film or electrical tape. Kind of a bummer when it was opened, camera works great. book was described as instructional, but in reality its just pictures, not enough detailed instruction.
Digital camera Review: Holga for life!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I love my Holga. But buyer beware as soon as you start using one lomographic camera something strange takes over you. You begin to start craving more lomographic cameras. I currently own the holga the supersampler and an LCA. But it doesnt stop there, you begin to realize that there are hundreds of other cameras you can modify out there in attics and garages and you start roming the flea markts for old kodak brownies and other cameras you can change to take different sizes of film and use those too. Now i have 14 cameras and i keep at least one on me at all times, another side effect of lomoitis.
the book that comes with it is really good too. Great photos, great ideas to get you started.
