Digital camera Review: Too small for most DSLRs

I bought my EX 120 at a local big-box computer store at a very attractive price (under $20) without actually checking to see if it would fit the compact DSLR I had in mind for it, my Nikon D80. I should have checked, because even though it's advertised as fitting a DSLR with a compact zoom, it won't fit the D80 with the 17-70mm zoom, which I thought of as compact. I can squeeze the D80 with a Nikon 50/1.8AF or 35/2.0 AF, and you might be able to fit a D3000 or D5000 with one of the tiny 18-55mm zooms they come with, but I think it's a bit iffy.
Even if you do manage that, there's little room for accessories. The front pouch will accept a spare battery and a few SD cards, but that's it. I think this case is better suited to a point-and-shoot camera with accessories, or perhaps a compact video camera. For a DSLR with a lens (or two) and maybe a flash, check out the Lowepro Stealth Reporter D100 AW Camera Bag. I'm still keeping mine, but it'll be used to carry a small digital audio recorder and spare batteries.
Five stars for Lowepro quality- but only three stars as a DSLR case.
