Digital camera reviews of Lowepro Slingshot 200 All Weather Backpack (Black)Digital camera Review: 200AW Summary: 4 Stars
Quite a useful bag. Can carry passport and air tickets in addition to camera and accessories. However, I have not been able to appreciate the swing around feature. My bag seems to have a strap which is meant for left shoulder. All pictures show right shoulder operation.

I love this bag! I carry my Rebel XT with zoom lens attached, my external flash, battery charger, gorilla pod tripod (curled into a ball), all cables and EVEN my camcorder and accessories in this bag... and I still have the outside zippered compartment for my car keys, cell phone, credit card, money and lip gloss! It's never heavy and keeps my equipment safe (and away from my toddler when I'm carrying her too). It also includes a waterproof cover that came in handy last fall on our very wet vacation in Florida. There is a larger version of this backpack but I can't imagine what else I could put in it.
Digital camera Review: A big surprise for such a small looking bag Summary: 4 Stars
When I got my Canon Xsi I got a Lowepro shoulder bag with it and never really liked the way it rested on my hip. This is just a personal preference of mine. The bag itself was great, that's why I decided to stick with Lowepro when I started looking for a sling bag or backpack thinking that was more me. I kept going back and forth between this slingshot 200 and the Fastpack 250 since it was a little bigger and I could carry my mac with me.
In the end it came down to price since I found this one for less but I'm really happy with it. It has a lot more room in it then I originally thought it would. I can have my Xsi with a 75-300 USM lens on and it fits fine. There's plunty of room in there for about four more lens or flashes. I'm about to get a battery pack and I don't see that being any problem. Compartments around it are handy and well spread out. Water proof cover looks nice, but I have had a chance to try it out.
My only complaint would be that depending on how you have the bag packed it can seem a little heavy like it's sinking on your back. I've only taken it out three times (about 2 hours each time) and I found that tightening the main strap helps a lot. It's a little harder taking it off at the end of the day, but all in all it's a great bag. I can see myself using this for years to come.
Digital camera Review: A good all round bag for day use Summary: 4 Stars
I found this bag to be a great bag to carry a couple of cameras, comfortably. I was a bit hesitant in ordering it, I wanted to be able to carry my Nikon F5, as well as a backup camera, a Nikon D200 (with battery pack) in it. The F5 is a big camera, but fit just fine. I was able to carry the F5 with lens attached, a D200 body and two lenses. The only drawback is the pack has very little space for carrying film. A great bag.
Digital camera Review: A good bag Summary: 4 Stars
This is a great day hiking bag. The sling system works as advertised, including the stability strap, while allowing quick access to your camera. It also works as a nice platform for your elbows if you're hand holding. The size is just right, to keep it from being too heavy for one shoulder when fully packed, I think the 300 version would be too big, even with the waist strap. The construction is sturdy, living up to the quality I expect from Lowepro.
There are a few small niggles I have with the bag. It distorts some when it's pulled to the front of your body and this can interfere with the zippers running smoothly around the corners of the camera access flap. It's not as easy as I'd like to configure the inside to give access to extra lenses without fully opening the bag. Finally, while it does have Lowepro accessory straps, I wish it had a couple generic attachment straps on the outside for water bottles or a monopod.
