This bag is great for my D40 with the kit lens. It also has additional room for a USB cable, filter, memory card, ect. This bag will not hold the charger though. It's great if you have a small DSLR camera and only care to shoot with the kit lens. Comfortable bag. It's also big enough to hold my D40 WITH the strap, so you won't have to worry about removing the strap or letting the strap hang outside the bag. All in all great bag for the low price, I just wish it had enough room in the front pouch to hold the charger and the charging cable for my camera battery.Digital camera Review: Great Bag, Wrong Size

I had to return the camera case because my Canon 40D with the kit lens (28-135mm) was about a half an inch too long to fit in the bag. The case appeared to have great construction and I loved the size and style. I actually jumped over to an M-Rock Teton which fits perfectly. The great thing about the Nikon D40 is it's smaller size compared with other DSLRs. The challenge is to find a bag that is just big enough for the essentials so you won't have to lug around a large bag for a relatively small camera. The D40 (with the kit lens) fits very nicely in the TLZ Mini - longer lenses need not apply. It's impressively padded for such a small bag. The front pocket is small but large enough for me to carry what I need: currently a spare battery, lens hood, UV filter, and a small lens cleaner. If size DOES matter to you because you're trying to carry light, this bag is just the right size.

I just purchased the Nikon SB-400 Speedlight, and it tightly fits with it's own case in the front pocket of the TLZ Mini. I'm happy I don't have to buy another bag, because I still love this one.
