This carrying case was perfect for me and my daughter. I bought one for each of us. I have a widescreen 15.4" and she has a 17" laptop. Both fit well. The quality seems to be very good and there is more storage space for papers, pens, etc. than you can shake a stick at. The only thing I don't like, is that I have a cooling pad for my laptop as a hedge against cooling system failure and it will not fit with the laptop. Other than that I would recommend this case highly. For the price it is a great buy.Digital camera Review: Great bag!

This is a good-looking, well-designed bag at a great price. But...my laptop doesn't quite fit. (17" Gateway FX, battery removed). It fits snuggly side-to-side, you need to push to get it in and out, but that's okay. The real problem is the top--it goes right to the top. With effort, it can be zipped but you wouldn't want to do it often in case the zipper won't hold.
Still, it is a "transit" bag, and even with the tight fit is still useful to transport places--much easier to carry than my other bag (Belkin, nice but big). There isn't a lot of padding, which keeps it light and portable. There is enough storage space with the outside pockets for everything that I need to bring (battery, cords, etc).
All in all, even with the tight fit, at this price for this quality, I'm very, very pleased with it.

I purchased a new laptop in July and was looking for a good, sturdy case to protect it. A friend recommended this Lowepro case to me and so I picked it up
It fits my 15.4 laptop perfectly, with enough room to slide it in and out easily. There are plenty of pockets for the charging cord and optical mouse I use with the machine as well as for documents, cellphone and lots of other things.
The strap is remarkably comfortable and the handle is easy on the hands as well. Overall, this was a great product for the price and is well made, sturdy and functional. If you are needing a new case, give this one a look.

I own several Lowepro camera bags. As I was looking for a notebook case for my laptop, I scanned across the name Lowepro. I couldn't believe that they make other bags. I immediately read the reviews, checked the measurements and ordered. I am very happy. I have a Toshiba Satellite L505-S6959 notebook with a 16" TruBrite LCD. This bag is perfect for it, even with the extended battery that I bought and causes it to sit raised from the surface. There are several pockets that I use for the cord, a mouse, etc. I like the padded shoulder strap and everything else about it. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
