Digital camera Review: Kindle Lover's Dream

Wow... This cover really works. No need to worry about the ratty elastic closure on the cover that comes with the Kindle 1. Luscious leather with a smooth feel in a deep cherry red makes this my best friend. The only esthetic drawback is that the stitching is white. Perhaps a matching red would have been better.
I enjoy the dove gray plush interior. It feels soft in my hand and eases strain while reading for long periods. When I read my Kindle, I fold the cover completely back over and under. The first few days the leather was stiff and it did not fold flat. But now the leather has softened and it folds nicely flat creating a thumb rest on the left hand side.
As many reviewers have mentioned, access to the whispernet and power switches is tight. But with use the case as softened enough the tight fit has loosened enough to provide easy access. I also leave the elastic corner off; it was annoying to have to put it back on and off. The other three corners remain a tight fit, holding the Kindle securely. In fact it is such a tight fit that it takes a bit of wiggling to get it in.
